How many Dog Parks are there and how big are they?
We currently have 2 separate Dog Parks which are next to each other. They are both 1.4 acres in size.
What facilities do you have in the Dog Parks?
Dog waste bin and poo bags
General waste bin
Dog play equipment
Will anyone else be in the dog park when I visit?
No, you will have the private use of the park.
We have a 5 minutes between each booking to ensure you have the place to yourself and there isn’t any waiting. We do ask you to leave promptly to make sure other users don’t lose any time from their slot
Are the Dog Parks private?
The field is screened by a large hedge on the road sides so there should be no distraction from passing cars/cyclists/horses/dog walkers etc.
Can I just turn up?
No, please book online in advance. We can then send you an access code to unlock the gate.
How do I access the field?
Once you have booked online we will email you a unique code to unlock the gate.
How do I find Flaxton Dog Park?
The dog park is located off York Lane, on the road between Stensall and Flaxton. If you are coming from Strensall, once you come across the second cattle grid take the turning on your left, Cross Lane, and the dog park is just on your right. If you are coming from Flaxton we are around 1 mile from the village on the right hand side.
What should I wear?
The dog park is open countryside so please dress for the weather.
What should I bring?
Apart from your doggies, please don’t forget to bring poo bags.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, you can cancel or change your booking up to 48hrs before your start time. Please use the online booking system to cancel or re-schedule your booking
Where do I park?
You may park directly on the field then let your dog straight out of your boot. If there are two cars, there is extra parking outside the dog parks. All the parking is hard standing.
